I arrived at the address she sent me, which just so happened to be not too far from where I made my stop. There were a lot of cars parked outside, so I knew it was packed inside. As I was walking up to the entrance, I noticed Shine’s car. I smirked to myself. I wasn’t at the party two whole minutes before I locked eyes with Shine. I could tell by the look on his face that he wasn’t expecting me to be there.

“I’m glad you made it,” Lil D said as she walked up on me.

“Thank you for inviting me.”

“Well enjoy yourself. There’s drinks and food over there in the corner,” she stated as she pointed in the direction of the drinks and food.

“Okay thanks.”

“No thanks needed,” she said with a half smile and wink before walking away.

She made a beeline straight to some brown complexion chic that was sitting over there chillin. I just shook my head and headed towards the drinks. As I was pouring me something to drink I felt someone standing behind me.

“Why are you just standing there behind me?”

“Maybe I like this view.”

“Is that right?”

“Yes that would be right.”

I turned around and faced him.

“Why are you playing with me?”

“Ain’t nobody playing.”

“Looks like your boy not too happy with you over here talking to me.”

“He’ll be okay,” he replied.

“If you say so.”

“How did you know about this party anyway?”

“Lil D invited me.”

“Damn Lil D got your number, and I don’t,” he said with a weird grin on his face.

“Don’t do that cause it’s nothing like that.”

“Okay.”

“Well I’m about to mingle a little bit so I will chat with you later,” I said before slowly walking away.

Scoop was really feeling me which was going to make it easy for me to take his ass out.

“Tonight would be perfect for me to take out Scoop, but he’s too fine to die so young,” I thought to myself once I saw that JR and his crew were at the party. This was going to be as easy as taking candy from a baby. Well not really, cause babies cry when you take candy from them.

As the night went on, the tension between JR’s crew and Shine’s crew grew stronger. So I took advantage of it, by dancing with JR. I knew Scoop was going to try and step in and just as I thought it, it happened.

“You can back up cause she’s with me,” Scoop stated as he pushed JR back a little.

“She can’t be too much with you if she’s dancing with me,” JR fired back.

“Well she is so back the fuck up.”

“I believe I came here alone. Which means I can dance with whomever I please,” I interjected.

“See she’s not with you after all,” JR boasted.

Before I knew it, they were fighting. Everyone was throwing hands, which gave me time to make a move. The police came and broke up the fight. I was standing off to myself when I heard…

“You did that on purpose,” Lil D said as she walked up behind me.
